The Importance of Employee Benefits with Sports Content to Improve the Lifestyle of Employees in Selected Companies with Sedentary Jobs

The aim of this paper is to address the importance of focusing employee benefits on promoting healthy lifestyle choices and exercise. The tools used will involve extensive research in a variety of fields, as well as employee surveys. The authors will focus on providing benefits recommendations and modifications to the benefits structure that will lead to the improvement of quality of life of employees with sedentary jobs.

This thesis also includes anonymous survey . The conclusion of this thesis describing recommendation for implement employee benefits which lead to improved life quality and health.
Monitoring the quality of life of people in sedentary jobs

The goal of the thesis is quality of life monitoring of examined set of people working in sedentary jobs in the age range of 20-60 years. Examined set consists of 100 people (79 female, 21 male). During the monitoring a questionnaire WHOQOL-BREF (WHO,1995) was used, which consists of 26 questions - 2 separate questions and 24 questions which are further separated into 4 domains - Physical health, Psychological health, Social relationships, Environmental health. Acquired data represents respondent's subjective view of quality of life. The thesis is theoretically substantiated by specialized literature and commonly available sources which are focused on the terms such as quality of life, sedentary jobs and health. Practical goal was to evaluate and to interpret the results of the WHOQOL-BREF (WHO, 1995) questionnaire. Evaluation and interpretation of the results is followed by discussion. The lowest value of the transformed score was measured in the area of the environment, while the area of social relations was placed on the 1st place. The mean values of the measured transformed scores for each area were as follows: 71.85 for Physical Health; 71.12 for the area of Experiencing; 72.73 for Social Relations; 69.37 for Environment.
Possibilities of physiotherapy at lumbar spine pain at the people with sedentary employment.

This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of physiotherapy for people with sedentary jobs who suffer with pain in lumbar spine region. The lumbar spine region is one of the most loaded part of the spine, because there is a transfer of movement from lower limbs to the torso. The sedentary lifestyle and lack of the movement are very serious problems which affect the modern society and bring many potential risks, which have on the human body. The aim of this work was to describe the negative factors causing lumbar spine pain during sedentary work, to define shortened and weakened muscle groups related to lumbar spine pain and to create an exercise session which will relieve the low back pain in sedentary work. The practical part was performed in the form of qualitative research. The research group consisted of 4 people with sedentary jobs, who also have pain in the lumbar spine area. At the first visit, I acquainted the probands with the schedule and content of therapy and then I took an anamnesis and performed an initial kinesiological analysis. The exercise session was consisted of drills to activate the correct breathing pattern, movements from deep stabilization system, exercises from dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, the Moses method, the McKenzie method and relaxation techniques. The therapy was performed for 3 months. At the end I processed a final kinesiological analysis. The results of the research showed that the biggest changes occurred in the testing of shortened muscles, especially the flexors of the hip joint, and the pain in the lumbar spine was relieved.
Long-term session - a negative lifestyle factor in PF students

The aim of the thesis is to define the possible risks and complications associated with long-term sitting on a physical and mental health of students. The theoretical part briefly defines the sense of movement in human life and is also focused on lifestyle changes and health problems caused by sedentary lifestyle. The practical part is focused on determination of the amount of time spent by sitting, what health problems students feel and how they compensate for sitting not only in their free time.

The theoretical part defines the point of movement in human life and focus on changes close to the lifestyle. In my bachelor thesis I'm looking little bit closer to one of the key problems of our ages, which in my opinion is the fact, that too many people spending their working days only by sitting a whole day in front of the computer.At the same time, they have almost unlimited access to food. Both factors together might have significant affect to an unhealthy life style, which has a big influence to metabolic deseases develompment, so called "Lifestyle deseases". In the first part of the thesis, I am describing nutrition itself. How the nutrition intake should look like. Data I used is focused on proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, vitamins or mineral substances intake. In the second part, the major metabolic deseases are described, especially those associated to a wrong lifestyle behaviours and sedentary lifstyle. The practical part of the thesis is based on a questionnaire survey. The main objective of this survey is to determine dietary and exercise habits of those employees, who spend the most of their working days sitting behind the office desk. The research shows, that majority of respondents care about a food they consume. The most of them trying to adjust their behaviour and shopping habits. KM-SYSTEM Co.-Taking the New Health CHAIR Ásana to Czech Market

Bachelor thesis summarizes the basic methodology of market research with an emphasis on introducing a new product to the market. Special attention is paid to market research methodology, definition of target groups and selection of appropriate method of data collecting. Theoretical bases are used to design research focused on sales and communication strategy of the specific product - Ásana health chairs - for the Czech Republic. Sub-topics include issues of sedentary jobs and their influence on health problems, cooperation among employees and employers in solving of working environment issues, definition of ideal health chair, motivation to purchase and price test. The results can be used for adjusting the company strategy, further research is recommended in the last section.
Physical demands of selected professions, creating a compensative program for sedentary profession.

The main theme of my work is finding the locomotive load in selected professions and build a compensation program for professionals with a sedentary job. When selecting this topic for me was the decisive topicality of the selected topic, I see especially in the ever-growing problems with musculoskeletal system of persons employed in sedentary occupations, which are one of the consequences of their employment. The first theoretical part of the thesis includes a detailed analysis of the issues examined based on theories that describe the anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system. I characterize also the sedentary lifestyle and sedentary employment in general and describe workplace ergonomics professionals selected for the needs of my thesis. In theory there need explaining motion compensation modes based on medical aspects of the workforce in selected professions sedentary jobs. The practical part of the thesis was to determine the quantitative research on a sample of probands peace musculoskeletal load in connection with the exercise of their profession. Results of the research were my starting point to build a compensation programs that would positively affect the quality of life of current probands. To meet the targets I have been primarily assisting methods of quantitative research using questionnaires. The reason for choosing this method is smooth and straightforward data collection enabling the rapid analysis and processing. The research group of people that was chosen includes professions that are characterized by their sedentary job: professional driver, an office worker and painter Christmas decorations. I observed the objectivity of the research questions musculoskeletal load in selected professions, I firmly establish the criteria on the basis of purposive sampling was assembled group of three professionals with a sedentary job. During the research, I pay attention to individual cases, carried out their detailed descriptions and subsequently proposed compensatory exercises by the parties for some time applied. After this time was collected by new data and a qualitative comparison with the data starting. I am convinced that the results of my research work can help all persons working in occupations with a sedentary job, provided the inclusion of adequate compensatory exercises in his career, but also leisure life.
Healthy physical exercise for people with sedentary occupation and its impact on health

This bachelor thesis describes influence of health physical education, here compensation exercises, on health of population with sedentary lifestyle. Theoretical part deals with sedentary lifestyle as a characteristic of nowadays and consequence of poor seating and posture. It focus on compensation exercise, its segmentation and influence on health. The empirical part presents the intervention program in the form of motion health physical exercise for people with sedentary lifestyle. The program focuses mainly on momentum weakened system. Verification assumptions and efficient of intervention provides input and output measurements. As testing methods were used posture by Klein, Thomas modified by Mayer, evaluation by Matthias and tests on muscle shortening by Janda.
